Laura Jacoba has been on a path of introspection, healing, and growth since her early 20’s. Her last 10 years have witnessed exponential transformation in those areas, aided by her divorce, sobriety, yoga, meditation, intuitive painting, gardening, music and various therapy modalities including talk therapy, IFS, EMDR, and hypnotherapy. One of her most effective ways of becoming centered, grounded, authentic and connected is by being alone in nature (typically barefooted). Her focus over the last two years has been connecting deeper with humans and fostering compassion, authenticity, acceptance, and growth in a group setting – specifically in a Circle.

 

Laura’s connection to P2SW began in 2024 when she was invited to join an i-group that opened one circle a month to include women. She hasn’t missed a meeting yet. She has since gone on to start another Coed Open Circle with a fellow Warrior from that i-group. Her vision is to continue to build community through leading and supporting reflective listening Circles in the West Michigan area, and to hone her skills as a facilitator. She continues to be an ardent supporter of P2SW because she has been so touched by the emotional/spiritual growth she has witnessed in the men she has met that are embodying the P2SW work.
