Bob’s excited to organize and facilitate this in-person Chicago P2SW Open Circle, building a stronger P2SW community where any man can share his struggles and victories. He is committed to creating deeper connection, trust, and the personal growth that comes when one dares to be vulnerable. These meetings utilize tools and learning presented on the Path to Spirit-Warrior weekend.
In 2009, Bob discovered the Mankind Project (MKP) and participated in their New Warrior Training Adventure, MKP’s self-discovery and initiatory weekend, and then joined a weekly MKP I-Group to enhance his personal and interpersonal relationship skills. In 2010 he took the next step and participated in the Path to Spirit-Warrior Training weekend. Both organizations enable him to find and create safe and challenging spaces to continue his growth and to develop friendships with men also seeking to develop themselves to be better citizens, leaders, friends, and intimate partners.
Bob’s leadership skills led him to create, organized and facilitate a Divorced & Separated Men’s Group for MKP. Men who participated in that circle also gained insight and a path forward in their lives through the P2SW training weekend. Bob has helped found and leads trainings for a virtual, weekly Business Support Circle within MKP, and also serves as the Chicago Area’s Community Events Coordinator and Area Council member. In Path to Spirit-Warrior, Bob served as a Guide on about 20 trainings.
